My addiction to alcohol was the most painful mentally, emotionally and physically to me as well as everyone around. The difference was, they weren't in control of the treatment to heal the injuries we suffered. It's a slow heal and lifelong treatment. One I'm happy to be alive to participate in.

Most painful would have to be the time i tore something in my shoulder during a wrestling practice i was postioned on top and had my hand around the other guy's ankle and tried to get away by yanking his leg in which pulled my shoulder causing me great deals of pain. I was a human stretch arm strong!

Most painful injury was when I was in a sledding accident. I broke 8 ribs, 3 vertebras, collapsed a lung, and more, and my back is still broken! That was 19 years ago.

my husband fractured my shoulderblade when I was 15. Emotionally, I hurt worse from his addiction to internet porn.
