The other sub-tool under My Broadcast is the Profile tool. Clicking on it brings up a window that has tabs that let you change your avatar from the default, give yourself a byline, and give your readers some information about yourself.
When you open the Profile tool, the Avatars tab automatically appears in the window. You'll see that PPN offers an array of avatar options. Click on the arrow to the left of each category to see all of the choices. When you click on an avatar it appears on the right side of the window between our logo and your byline.
You don't have to use one of our graphics as your avatar; you can use one of your own. Just remember that it should be square and visually clear. It also must be formatted as a "jpg," "gif," or "png" file.
To upload an image from your computer, click the Upload tab, then click on "Browse" and navigate to the file on your computer. Once you've found it, hit the "Upload" button. That's it! You should see it on the right, next to your byline. Just remember to hit "Save Profile" when you close the window.
The Byline tab is also a default tab when you open the window. Here, you can change your byline and view or change your avatar.
Under the My Information tab, you can let your readers know a little bit more about you: your age, gender, mission statement, etc.
If you've made any changes that you want to keep, click on "Save Profile" to close the window. If you haven't, just click "Cancel."
