This section does just what it says above--gives you an overview of what you can do on PNN. Some people will just read this section and begin their pages; others will go directly to the Quickstart Tutorial; and some will read both. If you read both sections, which we recommend, please bear with any overlap of information. We don't want anyone to miss anything crucial!
So, first things first. Remember that you can always get to the help window by clicking on the "Help" icon in the top right corner of your screen.
In many other windows you'll also see a help icon. Clicking on it will take you to the appropriate help section.
To get started, take a look at the bar across the top of your front page. From left to right are: our logo, your avatar (or our default), your byline and status, the icon to share this broadcast via email, the number of people subscribed to your newscast, the number of thumbs-up votes for your broadcast, search options, our welcome to you, the flagging icon, the help icon and the logout link.
